If a USB cable "provides a blacker, quieter background, reduces some 'glare' and brings out the micro-detail in the music." 1,096.54 UK pounds (1.5 meter) is a steal.

This is from the 2007 Transparent Cables price list.

The number after OMM is the length in feet.

The numbers in the right column the retail price in USD.

Wonder if I will improve by a bi-wired setup.

DIRECTIONALITY: All audio cables are directional. The correct direction is determined by listening to every batch of metal conductors used in every AudioQuest audio cable. Arrows are clearly marked on the connectors to ensure superior sound quality. For best results have the arrow pointing in the direction of the flow of music. For example, NAS to Router, Router to Network Player.

Lexicon

Lexicon put out a player called the BD-30, which they said was an enhanced Oppo BDP-83. The Oppo costs $500, the Lexicon $3500. Well, when the testers at Audioholics got their hands on the Lexicon, they cracked it open to check out the guts and found “it was in fact AN OPPO BDP-83 PLAYER, CHASSIS AND ALL, SHOVED INSIDE AN ALUMINUM LEXICON WRAPPER.”
